Important Information About Procedures for Opening a New Account:
To help fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account, including joint owners and authorized signers. What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask you for your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license and other identifying documents.

It may be necessary for Her Majesty’s Credit Union to restrict account access or delay the approval of loans pending further identification verification.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR JOINING

Complete a membership card and deposit a minimum of $50.00 ($10.00 minimum balance and a $40.00 membership fee.) Proof of eligibility is required.
You need to bring in all of the following documents in its original form when visiting a branch:

  • Picture Identification
    • State ID
    • Driver's License
    • Military ID
  • Social Security Card
  • Employee badge or paycheck stub

For a minor's account:

  • Social Security Card
  • Birth Certificate

When opening an account online we will send out a membership card that needs to be notarized.  Please return the notarized membership card along with a copy of a government picture I.D. to the following address:
